Gender Neutral Language in General Laws

Ms. Atkins of Concord moves to amend the order by inserting after proposed Rule 24, Section 6,  after line 780 the following rule:-

“RULE 24 (6)A. All gendered language in the future published editions of the General Laws following the 190th General Court shall be amended to gender neutral language, replacing the terms “he”, “him”, “she”, and “her”, with “they” and “their”, respective of plurality, except in those instances when the topic is gender specific. “
