Amendment #6 to H2017

Clerk Committee Reports

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough, Gifford of Wareham, Frost of Auburn and Smola of Warren move to amend the order by inserting after proposed rule 13A, the following new rule:—

“13B. The Clerk shall prepare a report on committee activity at every two years. The annual report shall contain an accounting of the number of bills referred to each committee and the number of bills heard during the previous twelve month period. The annual report shall also indicate the disposition of bills referred to each committee. Such report shall be filed annually, by January 10th, for the preceding calendar year.”.
