Representatives Jones of North Reading, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough, Gifford of Wareham, Frost of Auburn and Smola of Warren move to amend the order in proposed lines 36-38 by inserting after the sentence, “Within 4 weeks of the appointment of joint standing committees in the first annual session of the General Court, each joint standing committee shall adopt rules of procedure regarding its conduct.”, the following:— “Such rules shall be adopted by a majority vote of the committee members.”.
