Amendment #1014 to H3600

School Resource Officer Training Program

Mr. Cantwell of Marshfield moves to amend the bill in section 2, by inserting after item 8200-0200 the following item:

"8200-XXXX For the Municipal Police Training Committee to develop, in consultation with local law enforcement and experts in adolescent development and policing youth, a school resource officer training program for said officers, administrators, and police supervisors on training topics including, but not limited to, memorandum of understanding, adolescent development, juvenile law, and de-escalation and diversion techniques, and to provide grants covering training costs......400,000".
