Increased Scholarship Funding for Public Higher Education

Representatives Markey of Dartmouth, Kocot of Northampton and Koczera of New Bedford move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7070-0065, in line 3, by striking out the words “or independent” and in line 5, by inserting after the word “education,” the following: “within Massachusetts or an independent college or university within Massachusetts with an endowment of less than $1,000,000,000.00 as of December 31, 2016.”
