Representatives Khan of Newton, Keefe of Worcester, O'Day of West Boylston, Day of Stoneham, Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, Cantwell of Marshfield, Cariddi of North Adams, Tosado of Springfield, Vega of Holyoke and Williams of Springfield move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7004-0099, in line 54, by inserting after the words "community action grant"  the following: “; provided further, that not less than $547,500 shall be allocated to Living in Freedom Together (LIFT) for the purposes of administering Jana’s Place, a 20 bed program for women escaping from commercial sexual exploitation to receive stable housing, support services, and treatment for substance abuse disorders”; and in said item by striking out the figures "$6,988,468" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$7,535,968".
