Filing Fees

Mr. Cahill of Lynn moves to amend the bill by inserting the following section:

SECTION X.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the filing fee for any department of public health determination of need transfer of ownership application shall be not greater than five hundred thousand dollars in fiscal year 2017 and fiscal year 2018 unless the commissioner determines the cost of review of any such application exceeds five hundred thousand dollars; provided, however, that if the commissioner makes such a determination the filing fee shall not exceed one millions dollars.
