Amendment #1111 to H3600

Representatives Tosado of Springfield, Gonzalez of Springfield, Walsh of Framingham, Puppolo of Springfield, Vega of Holyoke, Provost of Somerville, Benson of Lunenburg, McMurtry of Dedham, Cahill of Lynn and Honan of Boston move to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item 7010-0005 the following item:

"7010-xxxx For Massachusetts Educational Opportunity Association (MEOA) to increase their ability to assist traditionally underrepresented students to enter college, graduate from college and enter into careers that will sustain them and their families through the Upward Bound program.  The funding will be utilized to support college access and college success programs across the state that demonstrate the need as well as the ability to increase their impact by enhancing services that lead to college access and success..........$1,000,000”.
