Amendment #1181 to H3600

Regional Economic Development Funding

Representatives Williams of Springfield, Mahoney of Worcester, Galvin of Canton, DuBois of Brockton, Speliotis of Danvers, Vincent of Revere, Cassidy of Brockton, Cahill of Lynn, Puppolo of Springfield, Hay of Fitchburg, Ferrante of Gloucester, Walsh of Framingham, Velis of Westfield, Cutler of Duxbury, Cronin of Easton, Linsky of Natick, Wagner of Chicopee, Kane of Shrewsbury, Markey of Dartmouth, Murray of Milford and Muratore of Plymouth move to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item7007-0300 the following item:

"7007-XXXX for the Regional Economic Development Fund to effectively implement the REDO program and improve the state’s competitiveness; leverage private, philanthropic, and federal funding; link the public and private sectors; provide grass roots support for state initiatives; and grow jobs and therefore state and local revenue..............$600,000".
