Alcoholic Beverage Sales II

Mr. Jones of North Reading moves to amend the bill by inserting at the end thereof the following new section:-

“SECTION XX. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the licensing authority of a city or town may issue licenses to establishments currently holding a license to sell alcohol to be drunk on the premises which would permit said establishments to sell alcoholic beverages or alcohol at a discounted price, provided that such beverages are listed at a discounted price for at least three week days between Sunday to Wednesday, inclusive. The treasurer of the commonwealth shall determine the costs associated with the issuance of such licenses.”.
