Amendment #124 to H3600
Alzheimer's Public Awareness and Education Campaign
Miss Gregoire of Marlborough moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4513-1111, by adding the following:-
"provided further that not less than $250,000 shall be expended for a grant to a statewide Alzheimer's disease advocacy and education organization for a public awareness and education campaign as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention which shall include a description of the early warning signs of Alzheimer's disease, access to patient services, importance of early diagnosis and family caregiver education and support;".
