Amendment #138 to H3600

Elevator Inspections

Mrs. Poirier of North Attleborough moves to amend the bill by adding the following sections:

SECTION XXXX. Section 22 (a) (5) of chapter 22 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following words:- “and provided further, that any fines assessed under section 65 of chapter 143 shall be calculated solely in accordance with said section 65.”;

SECTION XXXX. Said section 65 of chapter 143, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 23 and 25, each time it appears, the figure “$100” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$50”.

SECTION XXXX. Said section 65 of chapter 143, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 35, the figure “$5,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$1,000”.

SECTION XXXX. Said section 65 of chapter 143, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 36, the figure “$20,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$5,000”.
