Line Item For RSVP Prison Program

Representatives Heroux of Attleboro and Livingstone of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2 by adding after item 8900-1100 the following item:

"xxxx-xxxx For the re-entry program RSVP at the department of correction intended to reduce recidivism rates; provided, that the department shall report to the house and senate committees on ways and means no later than January 20, 2019 on re-entry programming at the department of correction; and provided further, that the report shall include information on the type of programs provided and the recidivism rate of the offenders who successfully complete the programs ........................................ $300,000."
