Lowell Business Development Grant Program

Mr. Golden of Lowell moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7003-1206, in line 3, by inserting after the word "organizations" the following: “provided further, that not less than $500,000 shall be appropriated for the City of Lowell Department of Planning and Development to create a business development grant program run by the City in conjunction with a qualified public institution in Lowell.”; and in said item by striking out the figures "$1,400,000" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$1,900,000".
