Amendment #463 to H3600

SICK LEAVE ACCRUAL AND PAY- OUT POLICY

Miss Garry of Dracut moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

"SECTION  XXXX.    Sick Leave Accrual and Pay-Out Policy:

•Cap sick time accrual at 1,000 hours for current and future employees who have less than 1,000 hours accrued.

•Cap the number of hours of sick time an employee can accrue to 1,000 hours, which is equal to six months of work hours. (Consistent

with a short-term disability program.)

•      Cap sick time accrual at the number of current hours for current employees with more than 1,000 hours accrued.".
