Amendment #533 to H3600

Homeless Student Transportation Commission

Ms. Barber of Somerville moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

SECTION XXXX.

Section 1. Section 190 of Chapter 133 of the Acts of 2016 is hereby amended by inserting the following after the first sentence of subsection (a):- “The commission shall be chaired by the secretary of education, or his designee.”

Section 2. Section 190 of Chapter 133 of the Acts of 2016 is hereby amended by striking out the following in subsection (c):- “July 1, 2017”; and by inserting in its place the following:- “December 31, 2018”
