Amendment #689 to H3600

An Act to foster collaboration between Norfolk County Agricultural High School and the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University

Representatives McMurtry of Dedham, Kafka of Stoughton, Ayers of Quincy, Rogers of Norwood, Dooley of Norfolk and Galvin of Canton move to amend the bill in section 7077-0023 by striking out the words “may work in consultation with the Norfolk County Agricultural High School on veterinary programs” and replace it with the following:

“Shall work in consultation with the Norfolk County Agricultural High School on veterinary programs, and provided further, that the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University shall furnish an annual report to the Department of Agricultural Resources no later than June 30 of every calendar year outlining the previous year’s collaborations and partnerships with the students of the Norfolk County Agricultural High School including, but not limited to, internships, class visits and field trips, joint projects, and other educational opportunities, as well as new goals and initiatives to be undertaken in the next fiscal year.”
