Amendment #786 to H3600

Mr. Hunt of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 4513-1098, by adding the following: “; provided that the Peace Institute establish and administer a process to distribute a total of $350,000 to Massachusetts Survivors of Homicide Victims Network organizations throughout the Commonwealth in the form of grants; provided further, that the Peace Institute shall report to the Department of Public Health on the amounts and recipients of said grants by March 1, 2018;" and in said item by striking out the figures “$100,000” in each instance in which it appears and inserting in place thereof the figures “$500,000”.
