Amendment #815 to H3600

An Amendment to Restore the 5% Sales Tax

Representatives Diehl of Whitman, O'Connell of Taunton, Lombardo of Billerica and Lyons of Andover move to amend the bill by adding the following sections:

SECTION X. Section 2 of Chapter 64H of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking “6.25 per cent” and replacing it with “5 per cent”.

SECTION X. Section 2 of Chapter 64I of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking “6.25 per cent” and replacing it with “5 per cent”.
