Safe Treatment of Pain

Representatives Lawn of Watertown, Garry of Dracut, Cahill of Lynn and D'Emilia of Bridgewater move that the bill be amended by adding the following section:

SECTION ##.   Section 148 of Chapter 112 of the General Laws shall be amended by adding in the second paragraph after the word “function.”, the following language:

“Any insertion of a filiform/metal needle for therapeutic purpose into a body constitutes the practice of acupuncture.”
