Amendment #860 to H3600

Substance Abuse Screenings for Adolescents/SBIRT

Representatives Khan of Newton, Balser of Newton, Barber of Somerville, Benson of Lunenburg, Cantwell of Marshfield, Gordon of Bedford, Keefe of Worcester, DiZoglio of Methuen, Murray of Milford, Provost of Somerville, Rogers of Cambridge, Stanley of Waltham, Smizik of Brookline, Tosado of Springfield, Ultrino of Malden, Walsh of Framingham and Williams of Springfield move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4590-0250, in line 21, by inserting after the word “youth” the following:

“; and provided that not less than $301,500 shall be expended for the support of school districts that are not currently funded by the Department of Public Health in the implementation of Section 97 of M.G.L. Chapter 71 as amended by Section 15 of Chapter 52 of the Acts of 2016”; and in said item by striking out the figures “$11,944,396” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$12,245,896”.
