Amendment #894 to H3600

An Act relative to reducing the sales tax to 5%

Representatives Lombardo of Billerica, O'Connell of Taunton, Garry of Dracut, Kuros of Uxbridge and Diehl of Whitman move to amend the bill by adding the following new section:

"SECTION XX

(a)Section 2 of Chapter 64H of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking “6.25 per cent” and replacing it with “5 per cent”.

(b)SECTION 2. Section 2 of Chapter 64I of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking “6.25 per cent” and replacing it with “5 per cent”. "
