Amendment #901 to H3600

An act to exempt municipalities from gas tax

Representatives Lombardo of Billerica, O'Connell of Taunton, Howitt of Seekonk, Dwyer of Woburn, Garry of Dracut, Kuros of Uxbridge and Diehl of Whitman move to amend the bill by adding the following new section:—

“SECTION XX: Section 12 of chapter 64A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following paragraph:-

Any sale of fuel, including but not limited to unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel, by a distributor to the commonwealth, any state agency or any municipality or its agencies shall be exempt from the tax per gallon contained in this chapter.”.
