Amendment #919 to H3600
Robert F. Kennedy Children Action Corps Detention Diversion Program
Representatives Cantwell of Marshfield, Cutler of Duxbury, Lewis of Framingham, Khan of Newton, Keefe of Worcester, Muratore of Plymouth, Dykema of Holliston, Honan of Boston, Williams of Springfield and Ayers of Quincy move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4200-0200, in line 2, by inserting after the word "programs", the following:
"and provided, that the department shall expend not less than $500,000 for the Detention Diversion Advocacy Program to be coordinated by the Robert F. Kennedy Children's Action Corps to prevent high-risk juveniles presenting before the court from penetrating further into the juvenile justice system.;"
and in said item by striking out the figures "28,529,665" and inserting in place thereof the figures "29,029,665."
