Amendment #959 to H3600

ABH - Behavioral Health Integration

Representatives O'Day of West Boylston, Cantwell of Marshfield, Donahue of Worcester, Ferguson of Holden, Garlick of Needham, Heroux of Attleboro, Keefe of Worcester, Khan of Newton, Malia of Boston, McKenna of Webster and Tosado of Springfield move to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 4000-0300, by striking out the figures “102,502,734” and inserting in place thereof the figures “102,602,734” and by adding the following: “provided further, that MassHealth shall expend up to $100,000 to identify regulatory and billing barriers to the integration of primary and behavioral healthcare and solutions to eliminate said barriers. MassHealth shall report to the House and Senate Ways and Means Committees and the Joint Committee on Mental Health Addiction and Recovery by January 1, 2018 on these barriers and their plan to address and eliminate these barriers by June 30, 2018."
