An Act establishing a sick leave bank for Justin Michael Rizzo, an employee of the Massachusetts Department of Labor Standards

The committee on Ways and Means recommends that the bill be amended by striking out, in line 2, the words “department of labor standards” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- “executive office of labor and workforce development”; and

"An Act establishing a sick leave bank for Justin Michael Rizzo, an employee of the executive office of labor and workforce development."

by striking out, in lines 3, 5 and 9, the word “department” and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following word:- “office”; and

by striking out the title of the bill and inserting in place thereof the following title:- “An Act establishing a sick leave bank for Justin Michael Rizzo, an employee of the executive office of labor and workforce development.”; and

by striking out the preamble and inserting in place thereof the following preamble:-

“Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith a sick leave bank for a certain employee of the executive office of labor and workforce development, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.”.
