Appointment of Commission Chair

Ms. DiZoglio of Methuen moves to amend the bill in section 3, in line 309, by striking out the words “the treasurer and receiver general shall designate the chair of the commission” and inserting in place thereof the words “the chair of the commission shall be appointed by a majority vote of the governor, attorney general, the treasurer and the receiver general”.
