Technical Amendment

Ms. O'Connor Ives moves to amend the bill in section 1, by striking out, in lines 1 and 2, the words “, section 20 of chapter 268A of the General Laws”; and in said section 1, by striking out, in lines 3 and 4, the words “prior to the expiration of his term as city councilor for the city of Methuen on December 31, 2017” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- “upon his resignation from the city council”; and in said section 1, by striking out the last sentence.
