Amendment #49 to H4011

Verification of sex offender registration

Representatives O'Connell of Taunton, Diehl of Whitman, Lombardo of Billerica and Lyons of Andover moves to amend the amendment by adding the following section:-

SECTION XX. Section 178H of chapter 6 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “imprisonment”, in line 10, the following words:- ; provided however, that a case shall not be dismissed or continued without a finding without verified proof from the sex offender registry board or police department that the sex offender has registered.
