Protecting motorists and emergency personnel

Mr. Linsky of Natick moves to amend the amendment by adding the following section:

SECTION XX. Chapter 90 of the General Laws is hereby amended in section 17 by inserting after the words “construction area”, the following words: -, or in the lane adjacent to the right lane if signs have been erected by the department of highways permitting the use of such lane.
