Amendment #11 to H4018

River walk at Ludlow Mills Phase II

Mr. Petrolati of Ludlow moves to amend the bill in section 2B, in line item 1100-3005, in line 227, by inserting after the word "Boston" the following:-

; provided that not less than $500,000, shall be expended to support Phase II of the Municipal Riverwalk at Ludlow Mills in the Town of Ludlow. Funds shall be used for the Design, Permitting & Construction of Pedestrian Safety Improvements.  Said improvements shall include approximately 2,500 lineal feet Riverwalk surfaces, LED energy efficient pedestrian lighting, (light fixtures, poles and concrete bases), Riverwalk site furnishings (benches trash receptacles and fences), historical interpretive and other signage.  Phase II of the Ludlow Mills Riverwalk shall be incorporated into the Right of Way of the proposed Riverside Drive, a public sub-division road, consistent with agreements between Westmass Area Development Corporation and the Town of Ludlow, the existing Public Use Easement and the approved Ludlow Mills Master Plan.  Riverwalk Phase II design & engineering plans shall be subject to approval of Westmass and the Town of Ludlow.
