Construction & Structural Upgrades to Old Mattapan Square Comfort Station

Mr. Cullinane of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2, by adding the following item: 

“EXECUTIVE OFFICE OF ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS.

Department of Conservation and Recreation.

2890-XXXX For structural analysis and construction upgrades of the old comfort station building owned by the department of conservation and recreation located on the Neponset Greenway walking and bike path in the Mattapan square neighborhood in the Mattapan section of the city of Boston for the purpose of improving the building to a condition so that the department may advertise the for lease for a small business which will benefit the surrounding community, including, but not limited to a coffee shop, an ice cream shop or a bike shop to be located at the beginning of the Neponset Greenway path. …………………….$750,000”
