Floor Amendment

Mr. Speliotis of Danvers moves to amend the bill in section 5 by striking out, in lines 26 and 27, the words “Special police officers shall not be subject to section 96B of chapter 41 of the General Laws” and inserting in place thereof the following words “A special police officer appointed pursuant to this act shall be considered a reserve or intermittent police officer and subject to the third paragraph of section 96B of chapter 41 of the General Laws and shall not be considered a full-time police officer”.
