Local Governing Body Approval in Communities Surpassing 10% Affordable Housing Inventory

Ms. Fiola of Fall River moves to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item 7004-0058 the following item:

“xxxx-xxxx items 7004-0050, 7004-0051, 7004-0052, 7004-0054, 7004-0055, 7004-0056 and 7004-0057 are hereby amended to reflect requirement of annual town or city local governing body approval in those communities that have surpassed the 10% affordable housing inventory as noted in Chapter 40, Sections 20 - 23 along with associated regulations issued and administered by Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development, prior to the disbursement of any public or quasi-public funds for the purposes set forth herein.”
