Short-Term Rental Host Registration

Mr. Cahill of Lynn moves to amend the bill in Section 7, by striking the first paragraph and inserting in place thereof the following new paragraph:

Section 7. By listing a residential unit for short-term rental through a hosting platform, a host affirms and attests the registration of the residential unit with the short-term rental registry maintained by the commissioner under section 6 of chapter 14, including agreement and adherence to any and all established state and local excise tax obligations.
