Amendment #21 to H4314

Preservation of 13A affordable housing

Mr. Honan of Boston moves to amend the bill by adding the following three sections:

SECTION XX.  Paragraph (1) of subsection (b) of section 6I of Chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 official edition is hereby amended by inserting after the last sentence on line 73 the following:

(iv) $5,000,000, for qualified Massachusetts projects that preserve affordability of a housing unit or development that previously received government assistance under section 13A of chapter 708 of the acts of 1966 of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

SECTION XX. Paragraph (1) of subsection (b) of section 31H of Chapter 63 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 official edition is hereby amended by inserting after the last sentence on line 74 the following:-:

(iv) $5,000,000, for qualified Massachusetts projects that preserve affordability of a housing unit or development that previously received government assistance under section 13A of chapter 708 of the acts of 1966 of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

SECTION XX. This act shall expire on December 31, 2020.
