Massachusetts Rental Voucher Program – Income Targeting

Ms. Higgins of Leominster moves to amend the bill, in item 7004-9024, by striking out the words, “provided further, that the department may require that not less than 75 per cent of all new vouchers administered by each administering agency under contract to the department be targeted to households whose income at initial occupancy does not exceed 30 per cent of the area median income;” and inserting in place thereof, “provided further, that the department may require up to 75 per cent of all new vouchers administered by each administering agency under contract to the department be targeted to households whose income at initial occupancy does not exceed 30 per cent of the area median income;”
