Municipal Eligibility to Attend Car Auctions

Ms. Peisch of Wellesley moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

“SECTION XXXX. Chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following section:-

Section 57A. Any person or company engaged in the business of conducting auctions for the sale of motor vehicles shall allow any agent acting on behalf of a municipality to attend said auctions and purchase motor vehicles.”
