Amendment #1070 to H4400
Career and Technical Education (CTE) Lag Funding
Representatives Mahoney of Worcester, O'Day of West Boylston, Donahue of Worcester, Keefe of Worcester, McMurtry of Dedham and Gordon of Bedford moves to amend the bill, in section 2, by inserting after item 7061-0008 the following item:
“XXXX-XXXX For the establishment of pilot programs to serve students on waiting lists for vocational technical schools by creating innovative and collaborative career and technical education demonstration programs that shall partner an academic or comprehensive high school, and a school offering Chapter 74 programs; provided further that these funds shall be expended for student reimbursement – to help meet the lag time in Chapter 74 reimbursements – and any associated transportation costs.………$900,000”.
