Non-Profit Security

Representatives Cahill of Lynn, Puppolo of Springfield, Ehrlich of Marblehead, Linsky of Natick, Tosado of Springfield and Gordon of Bedford move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 8000-0600, in line 14, by inserting after “agreements” the following: “;provided further, that not less than $150,000 shall be expended for a nonprofit security grant pilot program to provide support for target hardening and other physical security enhancements to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of terrorist attack and are ineligible for the United States Department of Homeland Security’s Nonprofit Security Grant Program based on their location;” and in said item by striking out the figures “$2,422,529” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$2,572,529".
