Massachusetts Commission on Unaccompanied Homeless Youth
Representatives O'Day of West Boylston, Atkins of Concord, Campbell of Methuen, Collins of Boston, Connolly of Cambridge, Dwyer of Woburn, Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, Garballey of Arlington, Gentile of Sudbury, Goldstein-Rose of Amherst, Hecht of Watertown, Khan of Newton, Lewis of Framingham, Linsky of Natick, Matias of Lawrence, Provost of Somerville, Puppolo of Springfield, Rogers of Cambridge, Smizik of Brookline, Tosado of Springfield, Ultrino of Malden, Vega of Holyoke, Kane of Shrewsbury, McMurtry of Dedham, Ashe of Longmeadow, Walsh of Framingham and Keefe of Worcester move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4000-0300, by inserting at the end thereof the following: "; provided further that not less than $150,000 shall be expended for the work of the Massachusetts Commission on Unaccompanied Homeless Youth to determine the scope of need among unaccompanied youth and young adults ages 24 and younger who are experiencing homelessness, and to identify and implement potential models for appropriate service delivery to unaccompanied homeless youth in urban, suburban, and rural areas of the commonwealth;" and by striking the figures "$103,377,269" and inserting in place thereof the figures “$103,527,269".
