Alzheimer's Public Awareness and Education Campaign

Representatives Gregoire of Marlborough, Ashe of Longmeadow, Benson of Lunenburg, Cutler of Duxbury, D'Emilia of Bridgewater, Dykema of Holliston, Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, Garlick of Needham, Garry of Dracut, Gentile of Sudbury, Gordon of Bedford, Hecht of Watertown, Kane of Shrewsbury, Keefe of Worcester, Khan of Newton, Koczera of New Bedford, McMurtry of Dedham, Muratore of Plymouth, O'Day of West Boylston, Pignatelli of Lenox, Puppolo of Springfield, Rogers of Cambridge, Rogers of Norwood, Smizik of Brookline and Tosado of Springfield move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4513-1111, by adding the following:-

 

"provided further that not less than $250,000 shall be expended for a grant to a statewide Alzheimer's disease advocacy and education organization for a public awareness and education campaign as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention;".
