Amendment #1270 to H4400

An Act relative to property tax deferral for seniors

Representatives Gordon of Bedford, Ashe of Longmeadow, Cassidy of Brockton, Garlick of Needham, Garry of Dracut, Gregoire of Marlborough, Linsky of Natick, McMurtry of Dedham, Murray of Milford, Poirier of North Attleborough, Provost of Somerville, Rogers of Cambridge, Rogers of Norwood, Stanley of Waltham and Tosado of Springfield move to amend the bill by adding the following sections:-

"SECTION XX. Section 5 of Chapter 59 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out in line 1117, the words “twenty thousand;” and inserting in place thereof the following words “eighty thousand”.

SECTION XX. Section 5 of Chapter 59 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting in line 1458 after the words “Forty-First”, the words “Forty-first A".
