Amendment #131 to H4400

Baystate Franklin CART Program

Representatives Tosado of Springfield, González of Springfield and Williams of Springfield move to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 4512-0200 by adding at the end the following: 

“not less than $500,000 shall be made available to Baystate Franklin for instituting a Collaborative Addiction Resource Team (CART) program.  Said CART program is a multi-disciplinary, multi-modal, evidence-based addictions service serving a large number of individuals treated in said hospital who have SUDs, with an emphasis on facilitating evidence-based medication for addiction treatment (MAT).”
