Amendment #1332 to H4400

YWCA Funding

Representatives Decker of Cambridge, DiZoglio of Methuen, Higgins of Leominster, Rogers of Cambridge, Kelcourse of Amesbury, Keefe of Worcester, Khan of Newton, Garballey of Arlington, Ultrino of Malden, O'Day of West Boylston and Collins of Boston move to amend the bill in section 2, item 4590-1507, in line 11, by inserting after the word “organizations;” the following:

“provided further, that the department shall award not less than $450,000 to the YWCA organizations, which shall be distributed equally between the YWCA’s member organizations;”;

and by striking out the figures “$3,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$3,450,000”.
