Amendment #1339 to H4400
Increasing the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC)
Representatives Decker of Cambridge, Walsh of Framingham, Higgins of Leominster, Lewis of Framingham, Rogers of Cambridge, Khan of Newton, Keefe of Worcester, Garballey of Arlington and Collins of Boston move to amend the bill by adding the following section:
“SECTION XX.
Section 1. Subsection (h) of section 6 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as amended by section 32 of chapter 47 of the acts of 2017, is hereby amended by striking out, in each instance where it appears, the number “23” and inserting in place thereof the following number:-33.
Section 2. Said subsection (h) of said section 6 of said chapter 62, as so amended, is hereby further amended by striking out, in each instance where it appears, the number “33” and inserting in place thereof the following number:- 43.
Section 3. Said subsection (h) of said section 6 of said chapter 62, as so amended, is hereby further amended by striking out, in each instance where it appears, the number “43” and inserting in place thereof the following number:- 50”.”
