Transparency of State Spending

Mr. Cabral of New Bedford moves to amend the bill in section 2, item 8900-0001, in line 20, by inserting after "2018" the following: "provided further, that the department shall also report on the costs associated with the implementation of agreements made pursuant to 8 U.S.C. § 1357(g) and the performance of the functions thereof for fiscal year 2017 and fiscal year 2018, and shall submit these reports for fiscal year 2019 on a quarterly basis starting July 3, 2018, due not later than 30 days after the last day of the quarter;” and further move to amend said section 2, in items 8910-0102, 8910-0105, 8910-0107, 8910-0110, 8910-0145, 8910-0108, 8910-0619, 8910-8200, 8910-8300, 8910-8400, 8910-8500, 8910-8600, 8910-8700, and 8910-8800, by adding the following: "; provided, that the sheriff shall report to the house and senate ways and means committees on the costs associated with the implementation of agreements made pursuant to 8 U.S.C. § 1357(g) and the performance of the functions thereof for fiscal year 2017 and fiscal year 2018, and shall submit these reports for fiscal year 2019 on a quarterly basis starting July 3, 2018, due not later than 30 days after the last day of the quarter.”.
