Massachusetts Israeli Economic Connection

Mr. Roy of Franklin moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

SECTION XXXX. For the New England Israel Business Council for operation of the Massachusetts Israel Economic Connection program to facilitate and support economic collaboration between Israel and Massachusetts, including but not limited to entrepreneur engagement, mentoring and commercial business exchanges, coordinated marketing functions and investments, with a primary focus on life sciences; technology and emerging technologies; provided further that funds may be used to support trade missions of Israeli executives in MA and other activities intended to promote business activities of Israeli companies in the Commonwealth; provided further that the New England Israel Business Council shall deliver to the house and senate committees on ways means and the Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Investment, not later than February 15, 2019 an evaluation of the Massachusetts Israel Economic Connection …. $500,000
