Direct Sale of Alcoholic Beverages for Off-Premises Consumption

Representatives Ferguson of Holden and Zlotnik of Gardner move to amend the bill by adding the following section: "SECTION XXXX. Section 19 of chapter 138 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition,  is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof, the following subsection:-

(c) A manufacturer may sell alcoholic beverages in kegs, casks, barrels, cans or bottles for consumption off a manufacturer’s premises; provided, however, that such a licensee may sell alcoholic beverages produced by the manufacturer for off-premises consumption."
