Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS) Technical Assistance

Mr. Madaro of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 3000-1020 in the final line by inserting the words, "provided further that not less than $2,500,000 to be expended by the Department of Early Education and Care for technical assistance related to the healthy eating and physical activity requirements within the Massachusetts Quality Rating Improvement System, of which not less than $1,500,000 will be provided to out-of-school time providers engaged in QRIS"; and in said item by striking out the figures "$30,372,353 " and inserting in place thereof the figures "$32,872,353".
